An updated Arts and Crafts inspired kitchen with cherry cabinets, shaker doors, granite counters and glass tile backsplash for a busy family with two small children. Moldings were chosen to complement the custom cabinetry, unifying the kitchen and breakfast nook.
The client’s objectives in remodeling their kitchen included a family eating area and seating at the peninsula for guests when entertaining. By borrowing space from a hall closet and angling the sink, we were able to allow space for both seating areas and move the refrigerator to a central location. A planning desk across from the table has a computer that doubles as a TV.
